This is Tribute, a Monte Carlo specially designed by Hank and Deanna Lovato as a Tribute to Our Heroes.
A lot of detail has been put into this car as can be seen on this hood. I’ve never seen a car so cleverly designed.
The following is a quote from the Facebook page of Hank and Deanna Lavato:
“TRIBUTE” We wanted to do something more with our Monte Carlo than just have a street rod. We wanted to show all the men and women who have served and our now serving in our military and their families, that we appreciate them. After a lot of discussions the idea of “TRIBUTE” was conceived. Than through many long hours in our garage fabricating and re-fabricating getting everything to fit and work that “TRIBUTE” was built. We than had to decide how he would be painted. That was a lot of brain-storming too, but we finally came up with “TRIBUTE” as you see him. We did add names of KIA, POW and MIA to the trunk and a few others to the sides after the original paint job. We are now in the process of building a trailer for “TRIBUTE”, we haven’t come up with the completed design but he is in progress. We have pictures of him on the Holton Car Show. Hank is thinking of naming the trailer “WARHORSE”, if you have ideas let us know. We have around 400 names on “TRIBUTE” and have almost 1,800 names that we have collected to put on the trailer. If you are military or know someone that was or is in the military and you’d like their name on the trailer please let us know. We need only the name, branch of service and home state. We are taking “TRIBUTE” to parades, homecomings, departures, events where our military are being honored. If you know of such an event and would like “TRIBUTE” there please contact us. “TRIBUTE” is our car, we have not taken any donations. “TRIBUTE” is our way of showing our military “We are proud of you and all that you have done for the U.S.A.” “God Bless!” Face book: Tribute Rheros email: firstname.lastname@example.org Hank and Deanna Lovato Topeka, KS
