Wow! I’d love to live there! But, first, I’d have to find a housekeeper — that’d be a huge house to clean!
Now that’s some spread!
Oh, my. That’s a lot of square footage plopped down out there. Do you suppose they’d take my suggestion to paint the house a different color, so it looks better with the red outbuildings? Yeh. Probably not.
By the way – after you were so sweet to give me some hints, I spent the weekend “messing about”, and am way too proud of myself for this.
Oops. I should learn to pay more attention. That should be this.
Barbara, I adore Victorian houses yet now in my older years I wouldn’t want to live in such a huge house unless I was beyond rich with a staff. Yet, I wouldn’t want to have to climb stairs. So, I photograph these houses when I come across them. That spread looks like a lot of work and upkeep!
Montucky, that is some spread. I shot this photo from within the middle of the road while in the truck because that was the only way to get this view.
Shoreacres, blue seems to be the color for many country houses as well as Victorian here in these parts. Yeah, the climbing stairs isn’t what I care for either. Hey, I really like your messing about! That is awesome and I just love the tree in tranquil waters. I sure hope I can mess about more in the coming months as I get less busy. So much to do and balance!
