Decorated and Caved-in Outbuildings

Decorated Outbuilding

Besides Wide Tree, Windmill and Outhouse and Ye Old Wagon on the interesting property without a house in the Kansas countryside, there were two outbuildings.

With the above photo, notice the decorated outbuilding as it has security lights. I surely wonder why and find this very interesting. With the below photo, the caved-in outbuilding has old farm equipment and a truck stacked behind it and I assume this because I noticed while processing the photo. The old truck rises above the caved in roof as well as there is a tire on the roof. We didn’t wander behind the outbuilding and stayed mainly on the fringes of the property to shoot photos. Now I am curious as to what was behind there.

I am intensely curious. I don’t know if I can look at the XLarge photos on my slooooow dialup during this lifetime, but can you read the whole No Trespassing sign?

I love a mystery. My fevered imagination is buzzing.

Hi Gerry. The XLarge photos show much more detail and just pops better. Wish you could see them. Yeah, we come across the No Trespassing signs many times. That is why we are careful, stay on the fringes and use super zoom lenses. LOL I love a mystery too. :)

That whole property is a find! I sure hope you can find the story behind it! It’s too bad that history of these places is so hard to come by!

That must be old. Boards of my late father’s outhouse lasted nearly 60 years. So You did find again interesting “things” to be shown here.

Robin, indeed it was interesting and the story unknown. Thanks for stopping by!

Montucky, I doubt I’ll learn the story… but then again, the story may show up here as that has happened before. Thanks for stopping by!

Sartenada, that is amazing about those boards! Yes, this barn is very old. Thanks for stopping by!
