Kansas Grain Elevator

In the far northeast corner of Kansas, it seemed they had had a sale on shiny, silvery grain elevators/silos as many of them dotted the farmlands and small town grain elevators. At Seneca, Nemaha County, Kansas, the COOP (Farmers Cooperative Assn) grain elevator shined and appeared to jut out of the crop and trees scraping the sky.

They are so big! That one looks like it’s ready for lift-off!

Montucky I told Anna the same thing, looks like a spaceship. On this day we had traveled the north east corner of Kansas near Nebraska. We saw a lot of these albumin silos. It was as if a traveling silo salesman had made a sale of a lifetime.

Indeed, it did look like a spaceship ready for lift-off. LOL
