A song will come to Anna from nowhere. In this case the song is “The End of The Innocence” by Don Henley. She just remembers the song from a long time ago. With the song in her head the cog wheels start turning and she is now on a mission to acquire certain photos to place in a photo story video using this song. The song carries meaning to her and she will try to portray this meaning through the photos she is acquiring.
Up the dirt road is a beat up old rural mailbox with the lid open and Anna smiles – “Perfect,” she says. We stop and she gets the photo. An old barn nestled within trees with a pond reflecting the words painted on the barn “Jesus is the reason of the season,” once again gaining a smile from Anna. “Perfect, just perfect,” she says as she snaps away. Then we come to this yellow abandoned house. Anna lost within the story in her mind, starts wandering around the house giving the shutter a go. She amazes me and inspires me. I hope I’ve captured her creative moment and my inspiration of her all in this one shot.
(I’m not sure when her video will be out, but I bet it is going to be really good).

Wonderful capture, Preston! And it’s so nice to finally catch a glimpse of Anna.
I’m with you — I bet the video will be really good.
Beautifully written and beautiful shot! You are very proud of her, I can tell!
Thanks Robin and Barbara for the comments. Anna is a pretty swell gal alright, has to be to have put up with me all these years. I am very proud of her.
It’s intriguing to observe another person’s creative process at work. It must be especially so when the other person is a beloved partner. You and Anna are blessed, Preston.
How lovely, photo from photographer!!! I love it. It was nice to see that “green jungle” where Anna was taking the photo.
