What I like best about visiting here is learning that Kansas is not the place I thought it was. It is the place IT thinks it is. These are some of my favorites of all your images. I have to come back to see if I can pull the last one through my sloooow dialup. But now a soaking thunderstorm is drumming across the Bay and I am going to batten down the hatches.
It’s so good to see the country greening up and budding out. Your photos are great and tell the story of the new cycle of life there. Enjoyable!
I love how, in the second photograph, the wires glint in the sun.

Blue Heron Bobcat. And that is one black cow and black cows are very hard to photograph! Thank you!
Scott, that is a Redbud tree in flowery bloom and soon it will turn leafy green. That tree was so bright it was hard to tell and see the blackbirds in the tree. Right now, Kansas is awash in bright purple-pink as these trees grow wild here. Thank you so much!
