Cold Creek Cars

Old cars neatly stacked along the creek bank frozen in the snow and ice. I had taken the same photo in June 2008, Cars Up The Creek. I still don’t know the story about these cars and find it interesting. This creek has had raging floods throughout the years; yet, the cars remain in place keeping that particular creek bank from eroding.

I’ve been on this bridge before. Didn’t have the lens to pull these cars in. Now I do, I need to repay a visit to them.

Well that is about as pretty as those cars are ever going to look.

OMG. That is great. I have been collecting photos from crashed cars during years, but this is top what are showing. I undersund it when looking that old photo from same place.

Happy weekend.

Hi earlycj5. It would be interesting to know the cars are there. Have fun photographing!

Hi Bill. Yeah, just unusual.

Hi sartenada. I’m not seeing as many crashed, trashed vehicles anymore. They are disappearing and where they go, I don’t know.

It sure looks strange with all those cars in a neat row. I guess everything happens for a reason…

Hi Staffan. It does look strange, doesn’t it? At one time, those cars were new and traveling the road. Now, they are creek cars. :)
