Paul-in-Law

Meet Paul. Paul is Anna’s step-Dad, making him my Paul-in-Law. I’ve known Paul now for several years and there is no finer man than Paul. Paul and Anna’s mom met us at a restaurant on Mother’s day and I took a few photos. As usual all my inside photos came out blurry. I don’t know, I upped the ISO and the light wasn’t too bad, but the shutter had that moment of hesitation. I can blur a photo with direct sunlight so any hesitation spells disaster for me. Since the image was blurry I figured why not and started trying all sorts of things during processing. I did an HDR, painted, darkened, lightened, and then applied an enamel effect all in hopes something would emerge. What I got was this and I was pleased.
